Fan Tips

Surprise Stadium delivers a relaxed and fan-friendly spring training experience, serving as the spring home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals. The atmosphere fits what many fans want from Cactus League baseball, easy access, good sightlines, and a slower pace.

Located in Surprise on the west side of the Phoenix metro area, the stadium is primarily accessed by car and rideshare.

The seating bowl keeps fans close to the field, with a comfortable layout that works well for spring training crowds.

Concessions include standard spring training fare and traditional ballpark favorites.

The surrounding complex and nearby dining options make Surprise Stadium an easy, low-stress destination for a day of baseball.

Security Screenings

Expect standard security protocol including metal detectors or wands, pat downs, and bag searches before entry will be permitted.

Bag Policy

Approved bags must be clear plastic or vinyl and no larger than 12" x 6" x 12”, a small clutch purse no larger than 5" x 8”, or a plastic storage bag that is one gallon clear resealable. All bags will be inspected upon entry to the ballpark. No backpacks or coolers are allowed.

Note: Bag and security policies listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variations. Please check the event website for any changes.
