About Sonoma Raceway

Located in the southern Sonoma Mountains and hosting NASCAR and IndyCar Series Races, this track is a 2.52 mile road course that opened in 1968. Track activities are scheduled about 340 days per year, making this one of the busiest tracks!

Fan Tips

Sonoma Raceway delivers a technical road course experience set in California wine country, combining racing with scenic surroundings.

Located in Sonoma, California, the track is primarily accessed by car and rideshare.

Viewing areas include grandstands and hillside seating, allowing fans to explore multiple vantage points.

Concessions include traditional fare along with regional food and wine options.

The relaxed setting and surrounding area make it a unique race weekend destination.

Security Screenings

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy

One hard-sided or soft-sided cooler no larger than 15" x 15" x 15" AND one soft-sided bag no larger than 18"x 18"x 6" may be brought into the track.  All bags subject to search before entry.
