Member Review - D.J. Fluck of Stadium Scene

If you're a Chicago Cubs fan and don't like snow, come out to Phoenix for Spring Training!  Sloan Park was built modeling Wrigley Field down to three of the four streets surrounding the ballpark (Sheffield, Waveland, Clark) and a replica of the famous Wrigley Field Marquee.  Ticket prices are fairly expensive compared to some of the other ballparks in the valley, but most of those teams can't claim the same kind of following as the Chicago Cubs.

Like most Spring Training ball parks, the outfield seats are grass and are great for families with young children.

Fan Tips

Sloan Park offers one of the largest and most popular spring training experiences in Arizona, serving as the spring home of the Chicago Cubs. The venue blends a modern ballpark design with the relaxed pace that defines Cactus League baseball.

Located in Mesa, the stadium is primarily accessed by car and rideshare, with parking surrounding the complex.

The seating bowl provides strong sightlines throughout, and the open concourse layout makes it easy to move around while staying connected to the game.

Concessions include traditional ballpark favorites along with Chicago-inspired options that reflect the Cubs connection.

Before and after the game, fans can enjoy the surrounding complex and nearby Mesa area, making Sloan Park one of the more complete spring training destinations.
