About Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse

Once known as Gund Arena and Quicken Loans Arena (The Q) opened in 1994 directly next door to brand new Jacob's Field (later known as Progressive Field). It recently hosted Cleveland's first basketball championship, led by LeBron James.

Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse delivers a modern and energetic setting for Cleveland Cavaliers games, following major renovations that enhanced both fan experience and amenities.

Located in downtown Cleveland, the arena is easily accessible by car, transit, and rideshare, with a central location near other major venues.

The seating bowl is designed to maximize sightlines and keep fans close to the action, contributing to a strong home-court atmosphere.

Food and beverage options include a mix of standard offerings and Cleveland-inspired selections.

After the game, fans can explore downtown Cleveland’s restaurants, bars, and entertainment options nearby.

Security Screenings

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy

All bags larger than 14"x14"x6" such as backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena. All bags are subject to inspection before entry.

Getting to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse

Public Transit: Cleveland does have bus service, but they do push taking the Rapid Transit instead. If you do choose to the take bus, find a line that gets off at Tower City. Take the Rapid Transit Rail to the Tower City Station and get dropped off within walking distance. There is a covered walk-way so you don't get lost. You can take the Red, Blue, or Green line to get there.

Rideshare: There does not appear to be a specific taxi stand area.

Parking Options

There are several parking lots in the downtown Cleveland area. Just be prepared to walk, depending on where you park. If there is an event at Progressive Field the East Garage will only accept parking passes purchased in advance.

Bus Service
