Fan Tips

Progressive Field delivers a balanced mix of modern updates and classic ballpark atmosphere in downtown Cleveland. Its location near other major venues creates a centralized sports district feel.

Fans typically gather in the surrounding plaza areas before entering, where the energy builds as game time approaches.

The seating bowl provides solid sightlines, and recent updates have added social spaces that give fans more flexibility in how they experience the game.

Food options include a mix of traditional items and local specialties, with enough variety to keep things interesting throughout the season.

After the game, the nearby downtown area offers plenty of options for dining and entertainment within walking distance.

Security Screenings

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy

Bags larger than 16" x 16" x 8" are prohibited. All bags are subject to search.

Note: Bag and security policies listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variations. Please check the event website for any changes.

Getting to Progressive Field

Public Transit: Cleveland does have bus service, but they do push taking the Rapid Transit instead. If you do choose to the take bus, find a line that gets off at Tower City. Take the Rapid Transit Rail to the Tower City Station and get dropped off within walking distance to Progressive Field. There is a covered walk-way so you don't get lost. You can take the Red, Blue, or Green line to get there.

Rideshare: There does not appear to be a specific taxi or Ride Share stand, but there are numerous cab companies that service the stadium area.

Got the opportunity to go to the club and that was so much fun! Especially on a chilly day. The food was surprisingly good!
