Kauffman Stadium delivers one of the most visually distinctive experiences in baseball, thanks to its iconic outfield fountains. Located within a larger sports complex, the stadium is primarily accessed by car, with plenty of parking surrounding the venue.
As you enter, the open design immediately highlights the fountains stretching across the outfield, creating a unique backdrop that sets this ballpark apart.
The seating bowl offers strong sightlines throughout, and the atmosphere tends to be relaxed and family-friendly. The stadium’s layout makes it easy to navigate between sections and explore different viewpoints.
Food options include classic ballpark fare along with regional favorites, and the concourses provide enough space to move comfortably even during busy moments.
After the game, traffic flows out through the surrounding complex. While there isn’t a dense entertainment district nearby, the in-stadium experience is the main draw at Kauffman Stadium.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
