Goodyear Ballpark is a bit of an older facility and is pretty far from the tourist areas of Scottsdale and North Phoenix, but if you're a fan of one of the Ohio teams, it's definitely worth coming out to check out a game.

Fan Tips

Goodyear Ballpark provides a spacious and relaxed spring training experience, serving as the spring home of both the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds. The venue offers a comfortable setting that fits the slower pace and fan-friendly nature of spring baseball.

Located in Goodyear on the west side of the Phoenix area, the ballpark is primarily accessed by car and rideshare.

The seating bowl offers strong sightlines throughout, and the lawn seating adds to the laid-back feel of a day at the park.

Concessions include traditional spring training fare with enough variety for a full afternoon game.

Before and after the game, the surrounding area offers convenient dining and retail options, making Goodyear Ballpark an easy spring training stop.

Security Screenings

Expect to see standard security checks such as metal detectors/wands, pat downs, and bag inspections before entry will be permitted.

Bag Policy

One clear quart-sized sealed bag, one factory-sealed plastic water bottle no larger than 1 liter (must be colorless water and non-carbonated), an empty water bottle, a children’s juice drink that is single serving and factory sealed, and small bags no larger than 16” X 16” X 8” are allowed.  For more information, please visit Goodyear Ballpark FAQ.

Note: Bag and security policies listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variations. Please check the event website for any changes.
