Few stadiums can match the visual impact of PNC Park. Set along the Allegheny River with the Pittsburgh skyline just beyond the outfield, the setting alone makes it one of the most memorable stops in baseball.
Many fans walk across the Roberto Clemente Bridge before the game, creating a unique and scenic approach to the stadium.
The seating bowl is compact with excellent sightlines from nearly every section, giving the park an intimate feel despite its open design.
Food options include local favorites along with standard concessions, and the smaller footprint makes it easy to explore the stadium without missing much of the action.
After the game, the riverfront and downtown area provide a relaxed environment to continue the evening.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Public Transit: You may use the Port Authority's downtown bus service to get near the stadium or the West Busway. Then you just need to walk across the Roberto Clemente Bridge, but the Roberto Clemente Bridge is under construction and will be closed during the 2023 baseball season. Fans can cross via the Andy Warhol Bridge (7th Street) or Rachel Carson (9th Street) bridges instead. You can take the T to either Wood St. or Gateway Center, and then walk across the Roberto Clemente Bridge to get to the game.
Rideshare: There is no taxi stand at this stadium.

Closest Major Airport: Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT)
While there does not seem to be a dedicated stadium lot, there is plenty of public parking at a very affordable rate. If you want to park a bit further from the stadium, you can always park at a park-and-ride and take the light rail to the game.
We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details.
