Stadium Information

About Paycom Arena

Opening in 2002, this stadium was originally built for concerts, minor league hockey, and arena football in an attempt to bring a professional basketball team to the city. While temporarily hosting the New Orleans franchise after Hurricane Katrina, they did not get their team permanently until 2008.

Fan Tips

Paycom Center offers one of the most consistent home-court advantages in the NBA, with Oklahoma City Thunder fans known for their energy and support.

Located in downtown Oklahoma City, the arena is accessible by car, rideshare, and nearby parking options.

The seating bowl keeps fans close to the court, helping create a loud and focused atmosphere throughout the game.

Concessions include a mix of standard fare and regional favorites.

After the game, fans can explore Bricktown and other nearby entertainment areas.

Security Screenings

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy

All bags larger than 14"x14"x6" such as backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena.  All bags are subject to inspection before entry.

Note: Bag and security policies listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variations. Please check the event website for any changes.
