This legendary ground for Manchester United dates back to the early1900s and has seen everything from champions to bomb damage during World War II.  Despite the club's recent struggles, it continues to be an extremely popular place for fans to visit from all around the world.

Tour Info

A tour of the legendary grounds and stadium are available which includes a stop through the museum and trophy room.  It is typically required to purchase tickets in advance from the club.

Fan Tips

Old Trafford, known as the “Theatre of Dreams,” is one of the most iconic football stadiums in the world, serving as home to Manchester United. The venue combines historic significance with a powerful matchday atmosphere.

Located in Manchester, the stadium is accessible by tram, bus, car, and walking routes from the city center.

The seating bowl offers strong sightlines, with the Stretford End known for its vocal supporters.

Concessions include traditional matchday fare and classic English stadium offerings.

Before and after the match, fans gather in nearby pubs and throughout Manchester, creating a full-day football experience.

Security Screenings

It is recommended to arrive at least one hour before the scheduled match starting time.  Patrons are subject to typical security measures including bag search and metal detectors.

Bag Policy

As of the 2018-2019 season, bags larger than 20cm x 15cm x 5cm (8" x 6" x 2") are prohibited.  There is a bag drop available at multiple spots around the grounds including E2 car park (away supporters), N2 car park and at the back of W2 car park for a cost of Â£5.

Public Transit:

The 53, 79, 250, 255, 256, 263 and x50 bus routes service near the stadium.  Check out Transport for Greater Manchester (TFGM) for full schedule of routes and current rates.

The Manchester United Football Ground (MUF) Station is located right outside the grounds.  Please visit National Rail for schedules and rate information.

Rideshare:

Taxis are available after the match along Sir Matt Busby Way, but you should anticipate a long wait.
