A very average stadium. Nothing too crazy, but it has modern touches. They have a lot of local food options - like Skyline Chili - and I always love seeing the local culture. The location is nice as it is right on the river.

Set along the Ohio River, Great American Ball Park offers one of the more scenic waterfront experiences in Major League Baseball. The location provides open views and a relaxed atmosphere that defines game day in Cincinnati.
Fans often spend time along the riverfront before heading inside, where the stadium’s open design immediately stands out.
The seating bowl is intimate with strong sightlines, and the overall layout keeps fans close to the action. The smokestacks in the outfield add a signature visual element, especially when they light up after home runs.
Food options include Cincinnati specialties alongside traditional ballpark fare, and moving around the stadium is easy thanks to its straightforward design.
After the game, the riverfront area and nearby entertainment options provide a smooth transition from the stadium to the rest of the city.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Public Transit: Take the Metro Bus or any other bus that goes to the Riverfront Transit Center. Then you are just a short walk away from the stadium. There are no rail options for this stadium.
Rideshare: There is not a dedicated taxi stand. You need to call prior to the end of the game and arrange pick-up on Joe Nuxhall Way on the west side of the stadium. There are five cab companies to choose from.

There is parking at the stadium, but you may want to check out the public parking lots in the area. There is a big selection and you might find a better deal.
We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details.
