Stadium Information

About Daikin Park

Originally known as Enron Field (we all know what happened there) and Minute Maid Park, Daikin Park replaced the legendary AstroDome. This is another facility with a retractable roof, which comes in great during the hot summer months in Houston. Be sure to check out the locomotive installed behind the "Crawford Boxes" in left field that was installed as a tribute to the old Union Station which once stood on those grounds.

Fan Tips

Daikin Park brings a mix of modern design and unique visual elements to the Houston game day experience. Located in downtown, the stadium is easily accessible and surrounded by city activity.

One of the first things fans notice is the train running along the outfield wall, a signature feature that adds character to the ballpark.

The retractable roof plays a major role, keeping games comfortable regardless of Houston’s heat and humidity. Inside, the layout is compact and easy to navigate.

Seating provides solid views throughout, and the crowd can be energetic, especially during key moments. Food options include both traditional ballpark fare and local Texas-inspired selections.

After the game, fans can explore the nearby downtown area or head out quickly thanks to multiple exit routes around the stadium.

Security Screenings

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy

Bags larger than 16" x 16" x 8" are prohibited. All bags are subject to search.

Note: Bag and security policies listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variations. Please check the event website for any changes.

Getting to Daikin Park

Public Transit: There are three different bus stops within 0.25 miles of the stadium. They are all on Congress St. You can catch the 006, 020, 030, 048, 137, 236, 256, and 257 to get to or from the stadium. Check the Metro website for times and your particular bus. They have a nifty trip planner to help you plan your whole way using their services. While this won't get you to or from the game, there is a train that runs along left field. Make sure to see this while at the stadium. If you need transportation to the game, Union Station is right across the street. Check your train routes for that stop!

Rideshare: The Ride Share pick-up and drop-off location is just outside the center field gate on Crawford Street between Preston Street and Congress Avenue.
