Target Field offers a clean, modern outdoor baseball experience right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Its urban location makes it one of the more accessible stadiums in MLB, with multiple transit options and walkable surroundings.
Fans often arrive early to explore the nearby bars and restaurants before heading into the stadium.
The seating bowl provides excellent sightlines throughout, and the open design allows for clear views of the Minneapolis skyline.
Food options include a mix of traditional ballpark fare and regional specialties, with enough variety to keep things interesting throughout the game.
After the final out, the downtown setting makes it easy to continue the night, whether heading to nearby venues or simply walking through the city.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Public Transit: There are many buses that stop by Target Field including the Twins Express. It picks-up at a couple of the park-and-rides and goes directly to the stadium. For more information, please visit Metro Transit to plan your trip. The Blue Line and the Green Line of the METRO light rail both have a Target Field Station. The Northstar Commuter Rail also stops at the Target Field Station. For more information, please visit Metro Transit to plan your trip.
Rideshare: You can catch a cab outside Gates 3 and 14. The one at Gate 3 is on 3rd Ave and 5th St. The second is at Gate 14 on 7th St.
