Oriole Park at Camden Yards set the standard for modern retro ballparks, and it still holds up as one of the most distinctive stadium experiences in baseball. Located in downtown Baltimore, the stadium blends seamlessly into the surrounding area.
The B&O Warehouse running along right field is the defining visual element, and Eutaw Street behind the outfield serves as a gathering area filled with history, including markers showing where home runs have landed.
The seating bowl offers strong sightlines and a more intimate feel compared to larger stadiums. The design keeps fans close to the action while still allowing room to move comfortably.
Food options include Maryland specialties along with traditional ballpark fare, and the concourses provide easy access to different areas of the stadium.
After the game, the nearby Inner Harbor and surrounding downtown areas offer plenty of options to continue the experience.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Public Transit: The Maryland Transit Administration has bus service on 19 different bus lines that will get you close to the stadiums. Visit the Maryland Transit Administration website to plan your trip. There is a light rail service and subway service provided by the Maryland Transit Administration. There are three light rail routes that go to Camden Yards: Hunt Valley Station line, Cromwell Station line, and the BWI Station line. Be careful to keep an eye on the time though, as these trains do not run 24/7. LightRailLink and MARC trains will bring you close to the stadium, but you'll need to walk.
Rideshare:
You can use a standard taxi or a water taxi to get close to the stadium.
Ride share pick up and drop off is recommended either at Warehouse at the Breezeway (Gate A), Home Plate Plaza on Russell Street (Gate D) or the north end of the Service Drive (Gate F).
