Nationals Park combines a modern stadium design with a growing riverfront district in Washington, D.C. Located along the Anacostia River, the area around the ballpark continues to develop with restaurants and gathering spaces.
Fans often arrive via the Metro, with a short walk leading directly to the stadium entrance. The surrounding plazas provide space to gather before heading inside.
The seating bowl is clean and contemporary, offering solid sightlines across all levels. Open concourses allow for views of the field while moving around the stadium.
Food options include a mix of classic concessions and regional offerings, with enough variety to appeal to different tastes. The layout helps reduce congestion even during busy stretches of the game.
After the game, the nearby waterfront and surrounding neighborhood offer additional options for dining and entertainment, extending the experience beyond the ballpark.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Public Transit: There are two different bus routes you can take to get to the stadium. You can take the Metrobus or the DC Circulator Service. Check their websites for fares and stops. It is highly recommended to use the rail system to get to the ballpark. Take the Green Line to the Navy Yard Station. You can also take the Orange, Blue, or Silver Line to the Capitol South Station.
Rideshare: You may catch the taxi on the north side of M Street SE between South Capitol St SE and Half St SE. If a car taxi is not your style, there are also water taxis within walking distance. Do not drop off on South Capitol Street due to the high volume of traffic.

It is highly recommended that you take public transit, a taxi, or carpool. If you are going to park at the stadium, make sure to reserve your spot in advance online.
