Tours are available during most days between 10 am and 3 pm. It is highly recommended that tickets be purchased in advance on the Melbourne Cricket Ground website.
The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is one of the most iconic sporting venues in the world, hosting Australian Rules Football, cricket, and major international events. Known simply as “The G,” it delivers one of the largest and most electric game-day atmospheres anywhere.
Located just outside Melbourne’s city center, the stadium is easily accessible by train, tram, and walking routes through nearby parklands.
The seating bowl is massive, yet sightlines remain strong throughout, especially during AFL matches when crowds can exceed 90,000.
Concessions include traditional stadium fare along with Australian classics and local favorites.
Before and after events, fans gather throughout Melbourne’s sports precinct and central city, making it a full-scale event experience.
Body searches and electronic searches such as metal detectors will likely be required to gain entry.
