Madison Square Garden remains one of the most iconic arenas in the world, hosting New York Knicks and New York Rangers games in the heart of Manhattan.
Located above Penn Station, the arena offers unmatched transit access, with subway, commuter rail, and regional trains all connecting directly below.
The seating bowl provides strong sightlines despite the arena’s age, and the atmosphere intensifies during big games and playoff moments.
Concessions combine classic arena fare with elevated dining options reflecting the New York market.
After the game, fans step directly into Midtown Manhattan, with endless dining, nightlife, and entertainment options nearby.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Public Transit: M4, M10, M16, M34 and Q32 to Seventh Avenue/Penn Station lines all available near MSG. Please visit the MTA to plan your trip. The world famous Pennsylvania Station is across the street. From here you can get to about anywhere in New York City, New Jersey, or even take an Amtrak to Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and other cities. Please visit the MTA, NJ Transit, or Amtrak websites to plan your trip.
Rideshare: There's no official taxi stand or drop off point, but it's Manhattan...there are taxis everywhere.

The Garden does not own their own parking facility, but there are more than a dozen parking garages and lots within walking distance. Rates can be very pricy, as are most parking garages in New York City.
We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details.
