Gateway Motorsports Park is located in Madison, IL, just five minutes from St. Louis. It was initially built in 1967 as a drag racing facility, in 1985 a road course was built, and then between 1995-1996 a new oval speedway was constructed.

You can enjoy the Richard Petty Driving Experience, where you can drive in a NASCAR race car, or you can do the Gateway Challenge, where you drive in a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS and you will be taught how to compete as a racer!
Fan Tips
World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway offers a unique oval and road course combination, hosting a variety of racing series including IndyCar and NASCAR events.
Located just across the river from St. Louis in Madison, Illinois, the venue is primarily accessed by car and rideshare.
The grandstands provide excellent views of much of the oval, with a compact layout that keeps fans close to the action.
Concessions include traditional options with quick access throughout the venue.
Race weekends feature a mix of on-track action and fan engagement activities.
Security Screenings
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Bag Policy
One soft-sided bag no longer than 18" x 18" x 4" or soft-sided cooler that holds no more than six, 12 ounce cans (NO ALCOHOL OR GLASS!) may be brought into the track. All bags subject to search before entry.
