Okay, I get that this is an old stadium with lots of charm. However, I am glad this isn’t my home park. The rows are incredibly long, meaning if you are in the middle, you have to bother a very large amount of people to get up. The seats are not too terribly comfy, and there are a lot of bad views inside the park. There is a lot of history there which is fun to experience.

Stadium Information

About Fenway Park

Fenway Park is the oldest operating stadium in Major League Baseball. Known for the "Green Monster" in left field, it really takes quite a shot for someone to hit a home run over the wall.

Fan Tips

Fenway Park delivers one of the most intimate and historic experiences in sports. Located in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood, the area around the stadium is packed with bars, restaurants, and street activity well before first pitch, especially along Lansdowne Street.

Entering Fenway feels like stepping back in time. The tight concourses, low ceilings, and vintage design immediately stand out. The Green Monster dominates the view in left field, and even fans not sitting there often make the trip to see it up close.

Seating at Fenway is unique and sometimes challenging. Sightlines can vary significantly, with some obstructed views due to support poles. That said, the proximity to the field creates an unmatched connection to the game.

Food options lean heavily into Boston classics, with sausages, seafood, and local favorites available throughout the park. Concourse space is limited, so expect congestion during busy moments.

After the game, Lansdowne Street becomes the center of activity. Whether you're heading into a packed bar or just taking in the atmosphere, the postgame experience at Fenway is as much a part of the visit as the game itself.

Security Screenings

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy

Bags have to be single-compartment and no bigger than 12”x12”x6". Backpacks and other multi compartment bags are prohibited with the exception of diaper bags and medically necessary bags.

Note: Bag and security policies listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variations. Please check the event website for any changes.
