About Empower Field at Mile High

Built to replace the original Mile High Stadium, this stadium was built in 2001. If you want to sit in the most fierce portion of the stadium, make sure to to get a seat in the "South Stands". There is a lot of tradition at this stadium, as shown by the fans. Make sure to take a minute to experience it.

Fan Tips

Empower Field at Mile High delivers a classic outdoor football experience with the added challenge of Denver’s altitude, serving as home to the Broncos.

Located near downtown Denver, the stadium is accessible by light rail, car, and rideshare.

The seating bowl is designed to amplify crowd noise, creating a strong home-field advantage.

Concessions include traditional options along with regional Colorado influences.

Tailgating and pregame traditions are a major part of the Denver game-day experience.

Security Screenings

All guests are subject to a screening using a wand upon entry.

Bag Policy

Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." (Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags will be available through club merchandise outlets)One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)Small clutch bags, 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.

Getting to Empower Field at Mile High

Public Transit:

Bus Routes 30 and 31 stop on Federal which is west of the stadium.

Taking the rail doesn't get much easier when you take the C, E, or W lines. Just get off with all the other fans at the Empower Field at Mile High Station and walk about 10 minutes to the game. If you take the West Corridor Line, you can get off at the Decatur-Federal Station and walk the same distance.  Learn more and plan your trip here.

Rideshare:

You can catch a cab after the game outside the stadium on Bryant Street outside Gate 5.

Rideshare pickup is on the south side of the stadium near the RTD Decatur-Federal Light Rail Station.

Parking Options

There are approximately 18,500 parking spots near the stadium if you include off-site parking. Only a third of those spaces are on-site. There is also a free bike valet/parking system if that is more your style.
