I was here for a hot summer day but still had a great time. This stadium is very spacious, and there are a lot of spaces to tuck away from the sun or heat of the summer. The food is mostly just standard ballpark food, but there are some specialties around the main concourse. I would recommend taking a loop around the entire main concourse.

Citi Field combines modern design with nods to classic New York baseball. Located in Queens near Flushing Meadows, the stadium is easily accessible by subway, with fans arriving just steps from the main entrance.
The Jackie Robinson Rotunda serves as the main entry point and sets a strong first impression, blending history with a clean, open layout. The stadium’s design takes inspiration from historic ballparks while offering modern amenities.
Seating throughout Citi Field is comfortable with strong sightlines, and the overall layout is easy to navigate. The outfield areas and social spaces provide a more relaxed environment for fans looking to move around during the game.
Food is a major highlight, with Citi Field widely considered one of the best ballparks for concessions. Options like Shake Shack and a variety of local vendors make it a destination for food as much as baseball.
After the game, the crowd flows back toward the subway and surrounding transit options. The experience is smooth and efficient, making Citi Field one of the easier stadiums to navigate both before and after games.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Public Transit: You may take the Q48 bus from Queens to Citi Field. If you take another bus, transfer to the 7 train to get to the game. You may take either the NYC Transit Subway or the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to the Mets/Willets Point Station. The 7 train is the subway line that gets you to this station.
Rideshare: There is a free water taxi to the game from Pier 11/Wall Street. There doesn't appear to be a dedicated taxi stand.

Closest Major Airport: Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
There are several lots at Citi Field. The primary lots only have one lot that accommodates general parking. The rest of the general parking spaces are remote lots.
We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details.
