Opened in 1996, Benchmark International Arena, formerly the Ice Palace and AMALIE Arena, is home to the Tampa Bay Lightning and a major entertainment anchor in Tampa's Channelside District.

Fan Tips

Benchmark International Arena provides a modern and comfortable setting for Tampa Bay Lightning games, with a strong and consistent fan atmosphere.

Located in downtown Tampa, the arena is accessible by car, rideshare, and nearby transit options.

The seating bowl keeps fans close to the ice, helping maintain energy throughout the game.

Concessions include traditional fare along with Florida-inspired options.

After the game, fans can explore downtown Tampa’s entertainment and waterfront areas.

Security Screenings

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Large bags and backpacks are not permitted.  All bags are subject to search.

Public Transit: The TECO Line streetcar serves the area near the arena. Check HART for current routes and schedules. Househould Finance Corp Station (9) is located directly across the street from the stadium. Please visit HART to plan your trip.

Rideshare: To find a taxi head to the north entrance of the stadium to the "15 minute circle" and there should be a cab waiting for you.
