Stadium Information

About Richmond Raceway:

Opening in 1946, the Richmond Raceway hosts the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series on its .75 mile, D-shaped raceway.

Tour Info:

The track will accept a $20 donation to Richmond International Raceway Cares, which assists non-profits in the Greater Richmond area, for you to drive five laps around the track!

Security Screenings:

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy:

One soft-sided bag or soft-sided cooler no larger than 14" x 14" x 14" may be brought into the track.  All bags subject to search before entry.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.

Parking & Transportation

Parking Options

Lot D via Gate 4 is Free Parking, as well as Lot H. Entering Lot H through Meadowbridge Road has the easiest access to-and-from the interstates and has a free tram that takes you to the backstretch of the track.

We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details!

Bus Service:

In Downtown Richmond, the 7th Street Parking Deck may service the parking deck to the track, but check the website before your event to be sure, as it appears the website is updated prior to events. Otherwise there is not a Bus Route that services the track. Please visit the parking website for more information.

Rail Service:

There is not a Rail Line that services the track.

Taxi & Rideshare Service:

There does not appear to be a designated drop-off/pick-up area.

Closest Major Airport: Richmond International Airport (RIC)
