Originally known as the Louisiana Superdome, this wonder of the world opened in 1975 and was remodeled in 2006 after being severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The Superdome has been known to regularly hold high profile events such as the Super Bowl, The Sugar Bowl, the NCAA Final Four, boxing events, and concerts.
There doesn't appear to be any public tour offerings at this time.
All guests are subject to a screening using a wand upon entry.
Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.
There are numerous bus routes available near the Superdome, but no direct stops at the stadium as far as we can tell. For more information and to plan your route, please visit the NORTA website.
The Loyola Streetcar Line has numerous stops along Loyola Ave.
