Camden Yards started a trend in the 1990s of building baseball stadiums in the middle of downtown. The unique design led to the inspiration for Chase Field, Nationals Park, and Petco Park. It provided a major landscaping change for once run down warehouse districts.

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Bags larger than 16" x 16" x 8" are prohibited. All bags are subject to search.

The Maryland Transit Administration has bus service on 19 different bus lines that will get you close to the stadiums. To get there, you need to catch bus routes 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 19, 20, 23, 27, 35, 36, 61, 64, 91 or QuickBus 40, 46, 48. The fare is $1.70 one-way or $4.00 for the full-day pass.
There is a light rail service and subway service provided by the Maryland Transit Administration. There are three light rail routes that go to Camden Yards: Hunt Valley Station line, Cromwell Station line, and the BWI Station line. Be careful to keep an eye on the time though, as these trains do not run 24/7. The fare is $1.70 one-way or $4.00 all day for both the subway and light rail.
