Stadium Information

About Key Arena:

Originally opening in 1962 for the World's Fair, the Seattle SuperSonics moved in and occupied the building off and on from 1967 until they moved to Oklahoma City in 2008. Now the venue is primarily used by the Seattle Storm of the WNBA and for concerts and other smaller events.

Tour Info:

There do not appear to be any public tours offered of the arena.

Security Screenings:

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy:

All bags larger than 14"x14" such as backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena.  All bags are subject to inspection before entry.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.
