Opening in 1950, this egg-shaped track was built for NASCAR racing and has two nicknames, "The Lady in Black" and "The Track Too Tough to Tame".
Pit passes may be purchased while supplies last for $25.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
You may enter with a soft-sided cooler no larger than 14"x 14"x 14" or a clear plastic bag no larger than 18"x 18"x 2", such as a shopping bag. All bags are subject to inspections.

Public Transit by bus is available and the closest stop is a 1.3 mile walk from the Darlington Raceway at the Bi-Lo Darlington SC Station.
