Stadium Information

About Avaya Stadium:

The Avaya Stadium is home to Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes. The San Jose Earthquakes spent over twenty years in various Bay Area facilities before moving here. The Avaya Stadium opened March 22, 2015, costing $100 million. The stadium is located to the west of the San Jose International Airport. A seismograph was installed in the stadium to sense ground movement during earthquakes. It is also useful to measure ground movement from an excitable crowd!

Tour Info:

Stadium tours are available Monday through Friday, from 9 am - 5 pm. The group capacity is 25 people, so be sure to book your tour before full capacity is reached. For more information, please visit the tour website.

Security Screenings:

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy:

All bags larger than 14"x14"x6" such as backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena.  All bags are subject to inspection before entry.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.
