Heading to an NFL game? Using public transportation and attending outdoor cold day games requiring bringing some essentials. What did I bring?
My Clear Bag
NFL requires clear bags to bring your stuff into the game. That is why I have mine. They vary in size and design but I went for the standard 12"x6"x12" size and made sure mine had a zipper. Make sure to check stadium regulations before heading out to the game!
A Fleece Throw
It's great for chilly days to wrap yourself in and add a level of insulation.
A Sweatshirt
I wore a long sleeve and t-shirt combo under my jacket but wanted another layer. I choose lots of light layers rather than a few heavy layers when I dress for the game.
Gloves
Gloves keep my fingers warm and not frozen.
Hand Warmers
My go to when gloves aren't enough.
Medications
I have cold induced asthma so I always make sure to pack my inhaler in the bag. However, make sure to think about what you might need during the game and pack one among your things.
A Hat
To keep my head warm!
Scarf
Another layer to add during the game.
My Ticket
This is a given to get into the game. Need one? Check out our friends here!
Wallet
Another given. I like lots of access and pockets. Check out my first choice here.
Train Ticket or Pass

As a big advocate of public transportation. This is essential to use it. Want to know the best way to get to the game using public transit? Search your destination on Stadium Scene. Directions are there!
Battery Pack
I notoriously use my entire battery taking pictures, entertaining myself on the train and listening to podcasts or music. Before investing in a battery pack, the going home portion would be a lot of sitting with nothing to do. Definitely, recommend investing in a great pack.
Headphones
Perfect for listening to the pregame or postgame show while on the train or catching up on my favorite podcasts. Have you heard Laces or Faces the Stadium Scene Podcast? Check them out!
