The Toronto frontcourt of Jonas Valanciunas and Serge Ibaka were dominating in the 1st quarter. The two combined for a total of 14 points. DeMar DeRozan filled the stat sheet in the quarter as he recorded 6 points and 4 assists. The Celtics were led by Aron Baynes, who scored 12 points. Terry Rozier added on 10 for Boston. Toronto led by 33-31 after one.
