The Raptors got off to a hot start during the 1st quarter of the game. Kyle Lowry knocked down 3 three-pointers for 9 points, while DeMar DeRozan added on 6 points. DeMar had also recorded 4 assists. Denver's Paul Millsap led his team with 6 points. Serge Ibaka's presence on defense was felt early on as he blocked two shots. This wild shot gave Toronto the momentum heading into the 2nd quarter. The Raptors led the Nuggets 25-23.
