The Raptors got destroyed coming out of the gate as the Hornets went on a 10-0 run. Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan combined for 16 points, which ultimately gave Toronto the lead. With 2:11 on the clock, Jakob Poeltl found Serge Ibaka open on the baseline and he threw down a monster slam. The Raptors led 30-26 after one.
