The Raptors went off during the 1st quarter as DeMar DeRozan and Jonas Valanciunas combined for 25 points. Toronto's only problem was containing Damian Lillard, who scored 12 points for the Trail Blazers. With 10:23 remaining in the 1st quarter, JV knocked down a wide open three-pointer as Portland's Jusuf Nurkic disrespected his shooting. Toronto led 38-17 after the end of one.
