I am a list person. Everything involves a list for me. Packing lists, to-do lists, shopping lists, you name it, I do it. To do to a baseball game, I have my go-to list and I thought this would be the perfect list to share with all of you.
- My Ticket - Obviously this is an important thing to remember to bring. If I am using an electronic ticket, I make sure to make it an image in the case of reception problems.
- My Transportation Plan - If I am using public transit, I make sure I have a copy of the schedule downloaded on my phone. If I am driving out to the game, I make sure to prearrange my parking at Park Whiz. It is a lot less money than paying for stadium parking and more convenient than driving around hoping to find somewhere to park.
- My ID - Granted, I never leave home without it, but it is always best to bring it with you to sporting events. You might want a drink or maybe you win a contest.
- My Poncho or Sunscreen - I check the weather before the game and make sure to pack weather-appropriate gear. If it is a sunny day, I throw a travel sized bottle of sunscreen in my purse and wear my sunglasses out. If it is rainy or there is a chance for rain, I throw a disposable poncho into my purse. It has saved my butt a couple times now. The nice thing about it being disposable is that I can recycle it after a storm if I don't want to bring it home soaking wet.
- My Credit Card - You may want to check out some of the bars and restaurants based on Stadium Scene's recommendations. I always do.
- Extra Cash - You never know when you might run into a cash-only bar or restaurant or your credit card may not work. I hate having to run around looking for a store that does cash back or find an ATM.
- My Fitbit - No matter how I get to the game, I always know there will be steps to take. It is almost like an addiction for me.
- My Team Spirit Outfit - I love to wear my team colors and support them. This past year, I went further and grabbed a team shirt from Fanatics.
- My Phone - Now that I have everything on my phone, I must remember to bring my phone. It also is handy to take some pictures and contact my friends if we get separated.
Now that you know what I would bring. What am I missing? Am I bringing too much? Let me know in the comments below!
