OBETZ, OHIO -- The defending Major League Lacrosse champion Ohio Machine began its defense of the Steinfeld Cup this past Sunday against the New York Lizards. The Machine showed no signs of a championship hangover as the team scored 25 goals, which was good for a franchise record. Midfielder Marcus Holman stole the show, accounting for 11 goals and setting a single-game record for a Machine player.
