Information To Know

Known for:

Fred Merkle's Boner. In 1908 Fred Merkle of the New York Giants failed to touch second base after a walk-off single and was tagged out. Instead of the Giants moving onto the World Series, the game was ruled a tie and had to be replayed because fans had come running out onto the field. The Cubs won the replay game and ended up going on to win the 1908 World Series.

Great close place to grab a drink before or after the game.

Established: 2004
